Knit for us

If you can knit — or fancy learning — you can help us and the other local charities we support, without leaving the house.

  • Knit at home
  • Beginners taught
  • Any amount helps
Handmade knitted and crocheted items arranged on a shelf.

Three steps

How it works

  1. Get the pattern from us — ask at the hub or ring.
  2. Knit at home, at your own pace, as many or as few as you like.
  3. Drop your finished items at the hub, monday to saturday, 10am–4pm.

Our volunteers sort everything and get it ready for delivery to whoever needs it.

Pattern download coming

We’re getting the current pattern up as a download. Until then, ring or call in and we’ll give you a copy.

No experience needed

New to knitting?

Come to the hub and we’ll teach you — the same as with crochet. Materials to start you off, someone to show you how, and no expectation that you’ll be any good at first.

Nobody there was born knowing how either.
